Wayne is an experienced osteopath having graduated from the Victorian University of Technology in 2000. He holds a Masters Degree in Osteopathy and has published research in peer reviewed journals.
After his experience as a long term back pain sufferer and the benefits he obtained from spinal and peripheral joint manipulation, Wayne was drawn to various joint manipulation methods. He has completed multiple continued professional development CPE Training in Osteopathic and Chiropractic Manipulation.
Over the years, Wayne has been approached by a number of osteopaths and physiotherapists keen to refine their joint manipulation techniques and has a love of sharing his knowledge.
Wayne has a preference for small group or one on one private tuition as subtle refinements in practitioner posture and line of drive of the manipulative thrust is often a key component in improving success rates with this form of technique and this is best achieved in a small group focused environment.
Wayne also has an interest in spinal rehabilitation particularly in the field of spinal decompression using the protec floating decompression device as well as the medx lumbar machine which has been shown to be incredibly important in lower back pain recovery. Wayne offers an informative 3 hour training session to help practitioners keen to employ these rehabilitation methods in their clinical practice.
