Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need a Referral from My GP?

No, you don’t need a referral to see us. However, if you have a chronic medical condition, you may qualify for Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Your GP can help with this.

What Should I Bring to My Appointment?

Please bring any relevant X-rays, scans, or test results. For CDM plans, Workers' Compensation, or TAC claims, ensure you have all related paperwork, otherwise, full payment will be required on the day.

Do I Need to Arrive Early for My First Appointment?

Yes, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your initial paperwork.

Why Do I Need to Complete Paperwork?

We need your medical history to discuss treatment options and will ask for your consent to treat you, which is required by law.

What Should I Wear?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Depending on your treatment area, you may be asked to undress to your underwear, but you’ll be offered a gown or towel for comfort.

Do You Treat Children?

Yes, we treat children. If the patient is under 18, a guardian must be present during the entire consultation.

Can I Bring a Friend or Relative?

Yes, you’re welcome to have someone with you during your consultation and treatment.

What Happens at My First Consultation?

We’ll ask about your symptoms, medical history, and medications. After an examination, we may conduct tests, assess your posture, and perform physical movements to determine the best treatment. We’ll also give advice on exercises or other ways to manage your condition at home or work.
